What is worth visiting in Marrakesh

Marrakech is the most famous city of Morocco. Although it is not on the coast, every year thousands of tourists visit it. Many vacationers in Agadir come to Marrakesh for 1-2 days on a tour, especially taking Marrakesh Desert Tours because visiting Morocco and not seeing Marrakesh and the desert is nonsense.

Here you can live in palaces located behind ordinary doors in Medina, or stay in a fashionable hotel with a huge green area. The city center – the medina – is included in the UNESCO World Heritage sites. It is the heart of Marrakesh, crowds of tourists flock there in search of oriental flavor. The central square of Jemaa el-Fnaa is a favorite place for evening walks of tourists. This part of the old city evokes a mixture of admiration and wariness. There are numerous souvenir sellers, street acrobats, snake charmers here. The main religious landmark of Marrakesh, the Koutoubia Mosque, located outside the Medina, is visible from every part of the city. Its construction began in 1147, and since then it has been the benchmark for such structures. Another mosque that is impossible not to notice when walking around Marrakesh is the Ali Ben Yusuf mosque. An interesting place, lost among the labyrinths of the narrow streets of the old city, is the Bahia Palace. This is one of the main points of visiting tourists. Here you will plunge into the luxury of exquisite palace interiors, you will see a wonderful courtyard, an orange garden with a fountain.

But the choice of attractions of Marrakesh is not limited to the walls of the old city. There is a beautiful park outside, along the shady paths of which it is very pleasant to take a walk in the heat. This is the garden Majorelle. It is located away from the city center, and if you walk to it on foot, you can also see the more modern look of Marrakesh.
